Break The Soil
(Mt. Nebo Records, 2006)
$15.00 (incl. shipping for US orders)
Bambu Station digs deep into the earth to bring forth this modern day roots masterpiece.  With vocals and lyrics by Jalani Horton and music produced and arranged by the entire Bambu Station crew (Jalani, Andy Llanos, Tuff Lion & Warren Pederson), Break the Soil is a potent combination of truth-telling word, hard-hitting sound and spiritual power.  This new album takes the heights of 2004's One Day to a new level - with even more interesting arrangements and instrumentation - including some beautiful saxophone playing by Warren.  Big tunes abound on this 14 track disc, including the powerful "Chance to Grow", the mystical "Bird's I View", and the upfull anthem, "Injoy".  Highly recommended.
